For us, corporate social responsibility means more than giving back financially. We look to our charity partners for opportunities of first-hand engagement with the people and causes they care about and represent. Our partner Igniting Change says – “Bridging the gap that separates people experiencing problems from those who are in a position to help can be life changing for everyone”. We believe personal connection to an issue gives us deeper empathy and insight than we might ever gain from reading about it.
As such, the Light Warrior team get actively involved with the following organisations:
- Igniting Change – Our Team attend ‘Meet the People, Feel the Issues’ sessions, and have hosted IC events at our office.
- Children’s Ground – We attended an on-country experience with a First Nations community on Mparntwe county (Alice Springs).
- B Team Community – As well as being a proud Bcorp we’re part of a Mental Wellbeing Culture Survey through the Australiasian B Team to contribute to improving better whole-person health and workplace wellbeing.
